And being prepared with a home warranty for the pool can help ease your clients' worry and financial strain that come from unexpected swimming pool/spa system breakdowns.

Many people do not know that basic homeowners’ insurance typically covers things like property damage to the home, but not damage due to normal wear and tear to swimming pool/spa system. If this system fails, it can be a hassle and may cost hundreds of dollars if replacement is needed.

Does homeowners insurance cover this?
When working with your real estate clients, you will find that the majority believe their utility companies or homeowners insurance is responsible for emergency repairs to the water, sewer, plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling systems, but the reality is that in many cases your client, the homeowner, are responsible. Most basic homeowners insurance policies and local utility companies or municipalities do not cover repairs to or replacement of the major systems in and around your client's home.
What quality of repair can my client expect?
Local, licensed and insured technicians perform covered repairs for your client's homes, which are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for one year.
